June Special Offering: Camp Christian

Washington Avenue’s June Special Offering is designated for Camp Christian’s annual operation. We have long supported the operating budget for Camp Christian with this special offering.

This year, Camp Christian will open to campers. However, there be just four sessions in July after only-virtual camp in 2020. The 2021 camp sessions will include Chi Rho Camp, CYF Conference, Junior Camp, and Advanced Conference. Camp Christian needs our support as it opens and operates its many facilities and systems that have been dormant for over a year. Camp Christian began operations in 1949 and our special offerings have helped support operating expenses for many seasons.

It will be a beautiful time when campers can be together, united by the Holy Spirit. It will be special to see the creativity and the resilience of the campers, volunteers, and staff as God is at work at Camp Christian. Many have felt their call to ministry while at Camp Christian.
