A Word from the Outreach Committee

Greetings from the Outreach Committee,

Washington Avenue Christian Church has always had a clear commitment to outreach, and we are thrilled to continue this! Together with the Stewardship Committee, we have re-envisioned a new opportunity for outreach that is imaginative and limitless. This year, outreach will look a little different, but we assure you our same good efforts continue!

As you read in the document accompanying the budget video, special offerings this year will be:
February: Week of Compassion
April: Easter Offering benefiting the Disciples Mission Fund – General Church
June through August: Community and Congregational Outreach
December: Christmas Offering benefiting the Disciples Mission Fund – Regional Church

Though there are months associated with these offerings, we are glad to receive contributions toward these special offerings throughout the year!

Additionally, we would like to provide contact information for organizations we have previously supported through special offerings in the event you would like to support them directly. Many of these groups will likely be included in community and congregational outreach, and some will continue to receive funding through the Disciples Mission Fund, but if you would like to make a special donation directly, relevant information is on the next page.

As always, thank you for continuing to support the outreach efforts of Washington Avenue Christian Church, from our doorsteps to the ends of the earth.
